Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration for creating. I’m drawn to the themes of natural beauties—specifically that of florals.

From a young age, my cousin recounts me frolicking barefoot amongst the daffodils at my Nana’s house. My other cousins and I would meander down the creek on the hunt for salamanders if we weren’t exploring my Papa’s garden—one of us sure to have a camera in hand or a craft mid-progress on the kitchen table. For me though, if there was a free moment, I was likely exploring the garden obsessing over the range of beautiful flowers, each varied and unique.

From these vibrant memories, I approached my first collection. From observing flowers in my youth, I realized that depending on the way you viewed each flower could change your perspective. Extracting flowers from their vases, viewing an arrangement from overhead allows one to focus just on the blooms nothing else. Perhaps in viewing this collection you’ll gain a deeper appreciation of their beauty too.

ABOUT

Amongst a family of many creatives, I was always encouraged to create—whether that be painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing, it’s always been part of me. With this instilled appreciation for creating, I pursued a degree in Graphic Communications at Clemson University, which lead me to career in art direction at an advertising agency in Greenville, South Carolina. Painting has complemented my career allowing me a chance to be imaginative in an entirely different way.
